The Moulvibazar District Police Monthly Welfare Meeting was held. On Tuesday (January 6) at 10 am, the monthly welfare meeting was presided over by District Police Superintendent Mohammad Billal Hossain at the Police Lines Drill Shed.

The meeting, moderated by Assistant Police Superintendent (Srimangal Circle) Md. Wahiduzzaman Raju, discussed various problems and solutions of police members working in various police stations, outposts and other units, and various work plans of the police.

At the end of the meeting, the best police stations and officers were awarded based on their performance in the month of December 2025.

Police Inspector Md. Saiful Islam of Sadar Model Police Station was elected the best officer-in-charge according to the uniform criteria of the Police Headquarters.

The best SI was selected as Shipu Kumar Das of Sadar Model Police Station, the best Sergeant was Kamlesh Biswas of Sadar Traffic, and the best warrant-issuing officer was selected as ASI Md. Rana Mia.

In addition, Kulaura Police Station SI Mohammad Sadek Mia was awarded a special award for arresting the accused in a sensational robbery case and recovering the looted goods.
