The handing over and assuming duties ceremony of newly elected officers of Joypurhat Chamber of Commerce and Industries for the term 2026-27 was held.
The program was held yesterday (Monday) at the local Swapna Chhaya Community Center with a grand opening ceremony.
The newly elected president Anwarul Haque Anu presided over the program. Uttam Kumar Roy, Deputy Director Local Government Joypurhat, AHM Obaidur Rahman Chandan, BNP’s Joint Organizing Secretary Rajshahi Division, District BNP Convener Golzar Hossain, BNP nominated candidate for Joypurhat-1 constituency Masud Rana Pradhan, Jamaat nominated candidate Fazlur Rahman Sayeed, Jamaat nominated candidate for Joypurhat-2 constituency Rashedul Alam Sabuj, District BNP Joint Convener Abdul Wahab, District Jamaat Secretary Maulana Golam Kibria, high-ranking officials of local government and private institutions, journalists, directors of the newly elected committee and business representatives from all walks of life of the district participated in the program. Outgoing president Abdul Hakim Mandal formally handed over the responsibility to the newly elected president Anwarul Haque Anu at the program.
