Freelancing (5th) Batch Inauguration in Chapainawabganj
One of the important initiatives of the government, including Chapainawabganj, across the country, the 5th batch of the project titled Employment Creation through Freelancing Training for Educated Job-Seeking Youth in 48 Districts of the Country has been officially inaugurated online.
The project is being implemented by E-Learning and Earning Limited, in collaboration with the Department of Youth Development, Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The inauguration ceremony was held today at 10 am from the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the capital Dhaka.
Asif Nazrul, Honorable Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, was present as the Chief Guest at the ceremony virtually and Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam, Secretary to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, presided over the ceremony.
The ceremony was moderated by Dr. Saifuzzaman, Director General (Grade-1), Department of Youth Development.
The chief guest’s speech was delivered by Dr. Asif Nazrul, who said that 17,200 trainees have completed the training under the project so far.
He also said that he sat down with everyone in his department and emphasized the need for this program on a larger scale, saying that not 17 thousand, but 17 lakh youth should be brought under training, so that the unemployment rate in the country can reduce and they can make an important contribution to the country’s economy.
There was a festive atmosphere at the Chapainawabganj district training center on the occasion of the inauguration.
Present at the time were Swapan Karmakar, Deputy Director of Chapainawabganj Youth Development Department, Assistant Director Sadikuzzaman, Chapainawabganj District Branch Coordinator S.M. Abdullah, Assistant Coordinator Nafis Islam, Trainer Zakir Hossain, Trainer James, Trainer Fahim and Trainer Mosaddiqur, along with 75 trainees of the 5th batch.
The training program is being used to engage the country’s youth in freelancing and online employment by enhancing their digital skills.
The guests said that this initiative will make the young generation self-reliant and will play an important role in building an “information and technology-based Bangladesh”.
