RAB-9 has recovered 11 abandoned air guns in Sreemangal upazila of Moulvibazar.

On Sunday (January 4), around 6:30 pm, these air guns were recovered in a raid in Lachna area of ​​Satgaon union of Sreemangal upazila based on a secret information.

On Monday around 11:30 am, RAB-9 Additional Superintendent of Police and Media Officer K. M. Shahidul Islam Sohag said in a press release that the air guns were recovered from two plastic bags in bushes on the north side of the Cha-Kanya sculpture.

However, no one could be arrested in the incident. It is initially believed that the recovered air guns could be used for sabotage purposes. An investigation is underway in this regard.

RAB-9 said the recovered air guns have been handed over to Sreemangal Police Station for further legal action.
