The reception was held on Saturday (January 3) morning at the Ambia Yunus Foundation auditorium in Faridganj Upazila. President of the National Press Club, editor of Dainik Kaler Kantha, and one of the poets of Bengali literature, Hasan Hafiz, was present as the chief guest at the event.

In his speech as the chief guest, he said that education is not a favor, it is the main tool to protect the existence of a nation. History does not forgive a nation that does not give importance to education.

Today’s talented students will run the state and lead the society in the future. Therefore, investing in their talent development means investing in the future of the country. He said that it is not possible to strengthen the education system if teachers are not respected.

Teachers do not just impart knowledge from textbooks, they instill morality, discipline and human values. If the respect of a teacher is ensured, a generation is enlightened. But when teachers are underestimated, that nation moves towards darkness.

Under the chairmanship of Motahar Hossain Patwari (CIP), a prominent educationist and social worker, founder and president of Ambia-Yunus Foundation, and moderated by Nurul Islam Farhad, the foundation’s program organizer, and coordinator Mojibur Rahman Farhad, the reception program was attended by special guests – Md.
