Later A discussion was held at the KSI auditorium on the significance of the day.Bandarban hill District Council Chairman Professor Thanjama Lusai was present as the chief guest at the discussion Conducted by Bandarban Sadar Upazila Social Service Officer Satyajit Majumdar.Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) SM Manjurul Haque and Executive Officer of Bandarban Sadar Upazila Marufa Sultana Khan Hiramony were present as special guests at the event.

Milton Muhuri,Deputy Director of the District Social Services Office,delivered the welcome speech at the event organized under the chairmanship of May May Nue Marma, District Council member and Convener of the Social Services Convening Committee.At this time,speakers called for making social service activities more effective and people-friendly through the proper use of technology and a combination of human values.
