An 11-member executive committee has been formed for the next two-year term (2025-2027) of the Shibpur Press Club in Narsingdi.
Md. Asaduzzaman Asad, Shibpur correspondent of Dainik Samakal, was elected as the president of the committee, while Mahbub Khan, Shibpur correspondent of Dainik Desh Kantha, was elected as the general secretary.
Other members of the committee are: Vice President Momen Khan (Dainik Amader Somoy), Joint General Secretary Ajmal Hossain Bhuiyan (Weekly Narsingdi Somoy), Treasurer Elias Haider (Dainik Tritiya Matra).
Sports Secretary Md. Dalim Khan (Daily Morning Glory), Publicity Secretary Atabur Rahman Sunny (Dainik Narsingdi’s Nabkantha), Office Secretary Md. Russell Mia (Daily Narsingdi’s Saradin), Literary and Cultural Secretary Md. Masum Mia (Dainik Grameen Darpan), Executive Member Nurul Islam Nuruchan (Dainik Inqilab) and Khandaker Amir Hossain (Weekly Bangla Pratishobi).
A meeting was held at the Shibpur Press Club office on Monday morning, December 29, to mark the formation of the Press Club committee.
The meeting was presided over by Shibpur Press Club President SM Khorshed Alam.
