District BNP President Professor Dr. Anwarul Haque, the BNP candidate for Netrakona-2 (Netrakona Sadar-Barhatta) constituency, submitted his nomination papers to the Assistant Returning Officer in Barhatta, Netrakona.

At this time, party leaders and activists and supporters gathered in the Upazila Executive Officer’s office premises.

Present at the time were Barhatta Upazila BNP President Mostaq Ahmed, Upazila BNP General Secretary Ashiq Ahmed Kamal, freedom fighter and former Upazila BNP President Rahmat Ali Talukder, former Upazila BNP President and Barhatta Press Club President Shams Uddin Ahmed Babul.

While submitting his nomination, he told reporters that Barhatta Upazila is a neglected Upazila. Many unions have not yet been touched by development.

If I can be elected by the people’s vote, I will try to improve the education, medical and communication systems of Barhatta Upazila, God willing.
