Salauddin Ahmed submits nomination papers for Cox’s Bazar-1 constituency
BNP nominated candidate Salauddin Ahmed, a member of the BNP National Standing Committee, has submitted his nomination papers for the Cox’s Bazar-1 constituency to participate in the national parliament elections.
Chakaria Upazila Executive Officer Shahin Delwar submitted the form for the 13th national parliament elections at 4 pm on Sunday (December 28).
At that time, Salauddin Ahmed said that the BNP government had made extensive development in Chakaria-Pekua.
He expressed hope that voters would again vote for him with the paddy sheaf symbol to continue the development.
Chakaria Upazila Election Officer Mahfuzul Islam said that the total number of voters in Cox’s Bazar-1 constituency (Chakaria-Pekua) is 533,094.
It is worth noting that Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin announced the schedule on December 11, announcing the date of the election on February 12.
According to the announced schedule, the last date for submission of nomination papers for the parliamentary elections is December 29.
The election campaign will begin on January 22. The campaign can be conducted until 7:30 am on February 10. The latest polling will be held from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm on February 12.
Chakaria Upazila BNP President Enamul Haque, Shamim Ara Swapna, Secretary M Mubarak Ali, Matamuhuri Upazila Organizing Committee President Jamil Ibrahim Chowdhury, Hefaztur Rahman Chowdhury Tipu and other leaders and more than 5,000 leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates were present at the time.
