Blankets have been distributed in Ranchondi Union of Kishoreganj Upazila of Nilphamari to protect poor and marginalized children from the hardships of winter.

On Thursday (December 18), Kishoreganj AP World Vision distributed blankets to registered poor children in Uttar Bafla, Sonakuri, Kuti Para and Kisamatabadi areas of Ranchondi Union of the upazila.

Alor pothe Micro Business Cooperative Society President Nurjahan Begum , 5 No ward UP member Mahfuzur Rahman, Khatib of Sonakuri Mosque Ashraful Islam, Kishoreganj AP Program Officer John Kennedy Cruze, VDC, Shishu Forum and Jubo Forum, and other dignitaries of the area were present at the blanket distribution program.

It is worth noting that from December 17 to December 20, blankets were distributed among 537 extremely poor children in Ranchondi Union out of 3,550 children registered in the working area of Kishoreganj AP, and the remaining blankets will be distributed in phases.
