Renowned crime-focused magazine Oporadh Jagat has appointed fearless and dedicated journalist S. M. Humayun Kabir as its Cox’s Bazar District Correspondent. The appointment was officially announced recently by the magazine authority.

Journalist S. M. Humayun Kabir has been engaged in the journalism profession for more than two decades with honesty, integrity, and professional dedication. He has been serving for a long time as the Cox’s Bazar District Correspondent of the widely circulated English national daily The Daily Morning Glory and the national Bengali daily Dainik Gonomukti. In addition, he has worked professionally with various national, regional, and local newspapers at different times, earning widespread recognition and appreciation.

He is currently a member of the Ramu Press Club and is serving as the Senior Vice President of the Bangladesh Mofossol Union of Journalists (BMUJ), Cox’s Bazar District Committee.

Journalists and media professionals in the district have welcomed his appointment, viewing it as a recognition of his honesty, courage, and professionalism in journalism. Concerned quarters have expressed optimism that, under his active role, Oporadh Jagat magazine will further strengthen objective, investigative, and information-based reporting.
