The Great Victory Day was observed with due respect and solemnity in Chapainawabganj. On the occasion, the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), Chapainawabganj, paid tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War of 1971 by laying floral wreaths.

At sunrise on Tuesday, the national flag was hoisted at the LGED office premises. Later, carrying Victory Day banners, officials and staff marched in a procession to the Shaheed Muktijoddha Memorial Plaque, where homage was paid under the leadership of the Executive Engineer of the District LGED, Md. Anwar Hossain.

Officials and employees of the District Local Government Engineering Department were present during the program.
