Cox’s Bazar District Police pays tribute on the occasion of the great Victory Day
On the occasion of the great Victory Day, the Cox’s Bazar District Police has paid deep tribute to the martyrs with due dignity.
The great Victory Day was officially inaugurated by firing 31 cannons at sunrise on Tuesday (December 16).
Later, wreaths were laid at the Cox’s Bazar Central Shaheed Minar to pay tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the great Liberation War.
After paying tribute, Cox’s Bazar Police Superintendent A.N.M. Sajedur Rahman said, “The sacrifice of the martyrs in the Great Liberation War is our source of inspiration.”
He further said that Cox’s Bazar District Police is committed to protecting the lives and property of the people, maintaining peace and order, and providing services while upholding the ideals of the Liberation War.
Additional DIG (Tourist Police) Md. Apel Mahmud, along with senior officers and members of the district police, were present at the time.
Expressing deep respect and gratitude to the martyrs on the great Victory Day, the district police once again reiterated their commitment to work with patriotism, discipline, and a sense of responsibility.
