Martyred Intellectuals Day was observed in Chapainawabganj with due respect and solemnity. On the occasion, floral wreaths were laid on Sunday morning at the memorial located at Rehaichar in the municipal area, the martyrdom site of Bir Sreshtho Shaheed Captain Mohiuddin Jahangir.
In remembrance of the martyred intellectuals, engineers of the District Education Engineering Department paid floral tributes at the memorial.
Among those present were Assistant Engineer Asaduzzaman, Sub-Assistant Engineer (Sibganj) Abdullah Al Mamun, Sub-Assistant Engineer (Executive Engineer’s Office) Arafatul Islam, Accountant Rakib Uddin, Computer Operator Mesbaul Haque, Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist Mehedi Hasan, along with other officials and staff members of the District Education Engineering Department.
