A sensation has been created in the village over the presence of a young woman at the wedding house of a young man named Ripon in Jamdhala village of Dhalamulgaon union in Purbadhala upazila of the district.

Ripon Barman’s wedding was being arranged at the house, when the young woman suddenly came to the wedding house, and the locals are saying that it is a plan to extort money.

On-site investigation revealed that Snigdha Chandra Barman (Basanti), daughter of Birendra Chandra Barman (Basanti), a neighbor of Birendra Chandra Barman, claimed to be in a love relationship with Ripon Chandra Barman, son of deceased Krishna Chandra Barman of Jamdhala village, on Thursday (December 11) night.

Meanwhile, a Bangladesh Railway employee said that he has no relationship with the young woman who came to Ripon’s wedding house. Ripon’s family has informed that the young woman is doing this for 80 thousand taka, in fact, she has no relationship with him. Even the girl’s family is saying that they do not know about their love.

When asked about this, Snigdha Chandra Barman (Basanti) said, there is no proof of love, Ripon has had a physical relationship with me for a long time. I went wherever he said. I will not leave Ripon’s house if he does not marry me.

In this regard, Purbadhala Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Didarul Islam said on Friday (December 12) at 5 pm that we have heard about the matter, but we have not received any written complaint in this regard yet. I have heard that the matter will be resolved socially.
