A workshop on effective referral service for returnees at the district level was held in Chapainawabganj.
This workshop was held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office at under BRAC’s Improvement Sustainable Reintegration of Bangladeshi Return Migrants, Protyasha-02 project.
Deputy Commissioner Md. Shahadat Hossain Masud spoke as the chief guest at the workshop. At this time, he said, “The referral mechanism will play an important role in the sustainable reintegration of returnees.
Different organizations will have to work in a coordinated manner by preparing a list of services.
“He also said that it is important to explain to expatriates what they should and should not do abroad, and the government should take the lead in ensuring that services for returnees do not stop even after a project ends.
