East Bengal Regiment’s 38th Annual Commanders’ Conference-2025 held

The “38th Annual Commanders’ Conference of East Bengal Regiment-2025” was held today, Thursday, December 11, at The East Bengal Regimental Centre (EBRC) in Chittagong Cantonment.
Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman was present as the chief guest at the conference.
Upon his arrival at EBRC, the Army Chief was welcomed by GOC, Army Training and Doctrine Command: GOC, 24 Infantry Division and Area Commander Chittagong Area and Commandant, The East Bengal Regimental Centre.
At the beginning of the annual commanders’ conference, the Army Chief recalled the glorious history of the East Bengal Regiment and prayed for the forgiveness of the souls of all the brave martyrs who participated in the great war of independence.
He also called upon all the members of the East Bengal Regiment to be ready to face the difficult challenges of the 21st century by acquiring capabilities through modern and up-to-date training with dedication, concentration and professionalism. In addition, during the exchange of views with the officers of the East Bengal Regiment, the Army Chief shed light on various issues including the technical development, research, professional skill enhancement and future plans of the regiment.
The event was attended by GOC, Army Training and Doctrine Command; GOC, 24 Infantry Division and Area Commander Chittagong Area; Commandant and Papa Tiger, EBRC; Military Secretary; Adjutant General; Commandant, BIRC; Chairman, Bangladesh Tea Board; Senior Army Officers of the Army Headquarters and Chittagong Area; Brigade Commanders and Unit Commanders of all Infantry Brigades and representatives of the media.
