Distribution of winter clothes among the poor in Kaliganj
In Kaliganj, Gazipur, former Chhatra Dal leader and prominent social worker Md. Nazmul Gani Lavlu distributed winter clothes among 1,000 poor and cold-stricken people on behalf of former MP AKM Fazlul Haque Milon, the district BNP convener and candidate for Gazipur-5 constituency.
On Thursday (December 11) afternoon, in Ward No. 7 of Kaliganj Municipality, Ghonapara area, former Chhatra Dal leader and prominent social worker Md. Nazmul Gani Lavlu presided over the event, with Khalequzzaman Bablu, member secretary of Kaliganj Upazila BNP, as the chief guest.
Special guests were Farid Ahmed Mridha, former organizing secretary of Upazila BNP, Ibrahim Pradhan, member secretary of Kaliganj Municipality BNP, and member of the municipal BNP convening committee Md. Mosharraf Hossain Liton, Khorshed Alam Kajal, District Swecchasebak Dal Member Secretary Ashraf Newaz Shaon, District Krishak Dal Senior Joint Convener Md. Mahbubur Rahman, etc.
The program was moderated by Kaliganj Municipal BNP Convening Committee Member Salah Uddin Ahmed, Kaliganj Municipal BNP Convening Committee Member Md. Shawkat Akbar, Municipal Krishak Dal President Md. Haider Ali Sheikh, etc.
The overall supervision of the winter clothing distribution program was provided by former Jubo Dal leader Nadim Ahmed, former student leader Azizul Haque Nannu, former Upazila Jubo Dal member Didar Mahmud Apu, Ward 8 BNP Joint General Secretary Md. Masud Rana, Organizing Secretary Hanif Sikder Mukta.
