New Police Superintendent interacts with journalists in Rajbari
Newly appointed Superintendent of Police Mohammad Manjur Morshed, BPM-Seba, held a meeting with journalists from various print and electronic media working in Rajbari.
The meeting was held in the conference room of the District Superintendent of Police’s office on Wednesday morning.
At the meeting, the new Superintendent of Police got acquainted with the journalists and emphasized the mutual cooperation between the police and the media in performing their professional duties.
He said, “Along with the police, the media plays an important role in maintaining law and order and ensuring social security.
Journalists are always working tirelessly to enlighten the society by presenting accurate information—coordination with them will be further strengthened.”
During this time, the Superintendent of Police took the opinions and suggestions of journalists on various issues including crime prevention, drug control, road safety, and violence against women and children in the district.
Senior officers of the District Police and journalists working in various local media were present at the meeting.
At the end, Superintendent of Police Manjur Morshed expressed his determination to make Rajbari a safe and peaceful district by increasing mutual goodwill and professional communication.
Present at the time were: Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance), Tapas Kumar Pal, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle), Shahidul Islam and others.
It is learned that, The new Superintendent of Police of Rajbari, Mohammad Manjur Morshed, BPM, joined the police force through the 25th BCS cadre.
His home is in Anwara, Chittagong district, And he was last working as the Superintendent of Police in Jhenaidah district.
