Under the theme “Let’s unite to stop violence against women and girls, ensure digital security”, a reception and discussion meeting of indomitable women was held in Kumarkhali, Kushtia, on the occasion of the International Women’s Day and Begum Rokeya Day 2025.

On this occasion, on December 9, 2025 organized by the Kumarkhali Upazila Administration and Upazila Women’s Affairs Office, a colorful rally started from the Upazila Parishad premises, circled the main road, and then returned to the Upazila Parishad meeting room for a discussion meeting.

The discussion meeting was chaired by Women’s Affairs Officer Ferdous Nazneen, and Kumarkhali Upazila Executive Officer Farjana Akter spoke as the chief guest in the welcome speech.

Officials from various departments of the upazila, NGO representatives, journalists from print and electronic media, and winners were present at the time.
At the end of the discussion, crests were awarded to the best winners as a token of appreciation for their good work.
