The International Anti-Corruption Day was celebrated in Netrakona with the determination to build a corruption-free Bangladesh.

On this occasion, the ACC Mymensingh Integrated District Office and the Netrakona District Corruption Prevention Committee organized a human chain and discussion program.

On Tuesday, in collaboration with the Netrakona District Administration, the day was inaugurated by the chief guest, Deputy Commissioner Saifur Rahman, hoisting the national flag and releasing balloons at the Central Shaheed Minar in the district town of Choto Bazar on Tuesday morning.

Later, in front of the Shaheed Minar, a human chain and discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Corruption Prevention Committee President Muhammad Abdul Baten and conducted by General Secretary Nazmul Kabir Sarkar.

Special guests were Superintendent of Police Md. Tariqul Islam, Additional Director of Mymensingh Divisional Anti-Corruption Commission Raju Mohammad Sarwar, journalist Alpana Begum, among others.

People from various walks of life, including teachers, students, journalists, and professionals, participated in this program under the banner of various social and civic organizations.
