A joint human chain and discussion meeting was organized by Moulvibazar District Anti-Corruption Commission and Habiganj Office to celebrate “International Anti-Corruption Day-2025”.
On Tuesday (December 9), officials of the district administration and District Anti-Corruption Commission delivered speeches at the human chain and discussion meeting in front of the Moulvibazar Deputy Commissioner’s office.
In addition, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Tanvir Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Asif Mohiuddin, Deputy Assistant Director of PPM, Moulvibazar and Habiganj Anti-Corruption Commission Joint District Office Md. Kamruzzaman, Moulvibazar Press Club convener Bakshi Iqbal Ahmed, journalist Nazrul Islam Muhib, among others.
Also present at the human chain and discussion meeting in Sreemangal was Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Md. Islam Uddin.
Chaired by Upazila Assistant Commissioner (ACland) Md. Mohibullah Akon and moderated by Victoria High School headmaster and DUPROC member Ayan Chowdhury, were also present: Corruption Prevention Committee President Professor Rafi Ahmed Chowdhury and General Secretary Md. Abdur Rouf Talukder, Corruption Prevention Committee President Professor Rafi Ahmed Chowdhury, Conscious Citizen Committee President Advocate Md. Alauddin, Sreemangal Upazila Jamaat-e-Islam Sreemangal branch General Secretary Ashraful Islam Kamrul, and Conscious Citizen Committee Vice President Kazi Asma.
A N M Wahiduzzaman, Vice President of DUPROC Sreemangal Upazila Committee, delivered the welcome speech.
Officials from various government departments, political leaders, NGO representatives, members of the Sreemangal Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee, members of the Conscious Citizens Committee, members of BNCC, Scouts, Girls Guides and Red Crescent, school and college teachers, students and journalists were present.
