Meeting Held Between Newly Appointed Officers-in-Charge and Cox’s Bazar Superintendent of Police
A meeting was held with the newly appointed Officers-in-Charge (OCs) of Cox’s Bazar district. The discussion took place on 08 December 2025, at 11:00 AM, in the conference room of the office of the Superintendent of Police. The meeting was presided over by Mr. A.N.M. Sajedur Rahman, Superintendent of Police, Cox’s Bazar.
During the meeting, the Superintendent of Police provided detailed directives on strengthening the overall activities of the police stations, improving the district’s law-and-order situation, promoting people-friendly policing, and ensuring better service delivery.
Addressing the newly appointed OCs, he emphasized, “Integrity, dedication, and utmost professionalism must be upheld to ensure proper service to the public.”
He further stressed maintaining transparency in every function of the police station, ensuring timely service, and earning the trust of the citizens—terming these as the core strengths of effective policing.
Those present at the meeting included Mr. Nazmus Sakib Khan, PPM, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration & Finance)
Mr. Mohammad Samim Kabir, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime & Operations) Mr. Alok Biswas, Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) as well as other senior officials of the district.
Speakers at the meeting expressed hope that the assumption of duties by the newly appointed Officers-in-Charge would bring renewed dynamism to police station activities and further strengthen the overall law-and-order situation in Cox’s Bazar.
