Comilla University-(CoU) is set to host the International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research in Sciences (ICMRS-2026) on January 9-10, organized by the Faculty of Science. Responding to requests from researchers, the organizing committee has extended the abstract submission deadline to 15 December 2025.

The extension was announced on Monday (8 December) through an official notice. According to the organizers, the deadline for full paper submission is 20 December, while the last date for registration is 15 December.

Abstracts must be submitted via ‘icmrs2026@cou.ac.bd’, and participants are required to complete registration through the designated online form. The notice also mentions that the conference poster, flyer, and detailed information are available on the official website of Comilla University.

Registration fees have been fixed as follows: Tk 2200 for local participants (early bird Tk 2000), and Tk 1200 for guests and students (early bird Tk 1000). For international participants, the fee is USD 100 (early bird USD 75), while international students will pay USD 50 (early bird USD 25).

The conference committee includes vice-chancellors, researchers, and scientists from various universities in Bangladesh, alongside experts from the United States, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Australia, India, and Saudi Arabia reflecting the event’s strong international focus.

The chief patron of the conference is Professor Dr. Md. Haydar Ali, Vice-Chancellor of Comilla University. Professor Dr. Masuda Kamal, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and Professor Dr. Mohammad Solaiman, Treasurer, are serving as patrons. The convener of the event is Dr. Pradeep Debnath, Dean of the Faculty of Science, while Professor Dr. Md. Abdullah Al Mahbub of the Mathematics Department is serving as the conference secretary.
