A special prayer mahfil has been held in Gopalganj for the speedy recovery and long life of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
On Friday (December 5) afternoon, a special prayer mahfil was organized by former district BNP president and former MP MH Khan Manjur at his office in Launchghat in the city. In the mahfil, the Holy Quran was recited and special prayers were offered to the Almighty Allah for the speedy recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia.
At that time, District BNP Joint Convener Major (Retd) Ahidul Haque Molla, Central Volunteer Party Vice President Sardar Nuruzzaman, Central Chhatra Dal Joint Secretary Touhidur Rahman Taj, District BNP former Joint Secretary SM Sumon and a large number of leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliate organizations were present.
