(03 December 25): Doa Mahfil has been held to pray for the recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia in Joypurhat. Doa Mahfils were organized separately in Joypurhat Sadar, Panchbibi, Kalai, Khetlal and Akkelpur upazilas. Leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliate organizations, people from all walks of life, and teachers and scholars of various madrasas participated in these mahfils. A huge doa mahfil was held at the Government Sayeed Altafunnesa College ground in Khetlal to pray for her speedy recovery and long life. BNP nominated candidates for Joypurhat-1 and Joypurhat-2 constituencies, Masud Rana Pradhan and Abdul Bari respectively, spoke at the mahfil and participated in the doa.
