The 10th founding anniversary of the Border Guard Bangladesh Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB) was celebrated in Chapainawabganj with colorful arrangements.
The arrangement was held at the battalion headquarters in Gobaratala, Sadar Upazila on Wednesday (December 3) afternoon.
Cake cutting, discussion meeting, battalion assembly, and lunch were organized to mark the founding anniversary.
BGB Rajshahi Sector Commander Colonel Kamal Hossain, Deputy Commissioner Shahadat Hossain Masud, Chapainawabganj Battalion (53 BGB) Commander Lt. Colonel Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Commander of Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB) in Chapainawabganj, Lt. Colonel Golam Kibria, Deputy Commander Abdullah Al Asif, Superintendent of Police Shri Gautam Kumar Biswas BPM, and various print and electronic media workers were present.
