Rovers travel 150 kilometers on foot in Netrakona
The four-member tour of the Kangsh Mukta Rover Group organized by Bangladesh Scouts Netrakona District Rover was inaugurated by Additional District Commissioner Rafiquzzaman. District Rover Commissioner Assistant Professor Md. Rafiqul Haque Chowdhury, District Rover General Secretary Md. Aminul Islam Rizvi, District Rover Leader Professor Kandaker Oli Ullah, Kangsh Mukta Scout Group President Chowdhury Yunus Ali Usmani, leaders of socio-cultural organizations of the district, and journalists from print and electronic media were present.
The leader of the Kangsh Mukta Scout Group’s tour group was Munshi Md. Muntakim, director Apan Pal Durjoy, observers Azharul Islam Roni and Md. Shariful Islam. These four people went on a tour.
On December 1, 2025, the Rover Scouts will start a 150-kilometer walk from Netrakona to Sherpur, Jamalpur, and reach the Regional Scout Training Center Muktagachha, Mymensingh, from the office of the District Commissioner at 9 am on Monday to earn the travel badge for the implementation of the Rover Program. They will complete the travel program from 01-12-2025 to 05-12-2025.
During the travel, they will take breaks and spend the night at various places along the way as planned.
The leaders of Bangladesh Scouts and District Rovers have said that they have sought the necessary cooperation, including the necessary documents, during the travel.
