A.N.M. Sajedur Rahman joins as new police superintendent in Cox’s Bazar
Mr. A.N.M. Sajedur Rahman has joined as the new police superintendent of Cox’s Bazar district. He formally assumed charge on Sunday morning. Mr. Sajedur Rahman is the son of a respectable Muslim family in Bogra district. He is a skilled and experienced officer of the 27th BCS (Police) batch. Earlier, he has successfully served in two important posts – Superintendent of Police, Special Branch (SB), Dhaka and Superintendent of Police, Habiganj district.
After assuming charge, the new police superintendent said that his main goal is to perform his duties with honesty, dedication and professionalism. He sought everyone’s sincere cooperation to control crime and maintain law and order in the tourist city of Cox’s Bazar.
He expressed hope that with the coordinated cooperation of the administration, media, public representatives, and the people of Cox’s Bazar, it will be possible to build a safe and peaceful Cox’s Bazar.
