Seven Upazila Nirbahi Officers (UNOs) in Cox’s Bazar district have been transferred. The Ministry of Public Administration issued the transfer order in a notification on 26 November. New UNOs have been appointed to Pekua, Chakaria, Eidgaon, Maheshkhali, Teknaf, Ramu, and Sadar upazilas. According to the notification, Tanjila Tasnim, Chief Revenue Officer of Rangpur City Corporation, has been appointed UNO of Cox’s Bazar Sadar. Md. Fazle Rabbani Chowdhury, Senior Assistant Commissioner at the Office of the Divisional Commissioner, Sylhet, has been posted to Ramu. Mir Kamruzzaman Kabir, Private Secretary to the Chairman of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA), has been appointed to Eidgaon. Shaheen Delwar, Senior Assistant Commissioner at the Sylhet Divisional Commissioner’s Office, has been posted to Chakaria. Mahbub Alam Mahbub, Senior Assistant Commissioner at the Habiganj Deputy Commissioner’s Office, will serve in Pekua. Imran-Mahmud-Dalim, Senior Assistant Commissioner at the Chattogram Deputy Commissioner’s Office, has been posted to Maheshkhali. Md. Imam-ul-Hafiz Nadim, Assistant Director at the Land Administration Training Centre, has been appointed UNO of Teknaf.
The order was issued in a notification signed by Aminul Islam, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration. According to the directive, all transferred officials must join their new workplaces by 30 November.
