Anarul Islam (28), a young man from Ghagrapara village in Purbadhala upazila of the district, has been missing for almost a month.

He has not been seen since he left Dharmapasha area of ​​Sunamganj for his home on October 26, 2025, while visiting his in-laws’ house.

The family said that Anarul was wearing a navy-colored full-sleeved shirt and lungi at the time of his disappearance.
The family also mentioned that he was mentally unstable.

After the incident, Anarul’s younger brother Md. Nazmul filed a general diary (GD) at Dharmapasha police station.
Family and relatives searched in various areas, but Anarul was nowhere to be found.

The family said that on October 22, Anarul went to visit his in-laws’ house in Rajdharpur village of Dharmapasha upazila of Sunamganj with his wife and two children.
On October 26, his wife informed family members that they were taking Anarul home by train from Mohanganj station.

But when he did not return home even after a long wait, the family became suspicious.
When contacted later, the wife said that they had dropped Anarul at Netrakona railway station.

Since then, no trace of him has been found.
In this situation, Anarul Islam’s family organized a press conference at the Netrakona District Press Club auditorium at 12 noon today, Friday (November 28).
At the press conference, they sought the cooperation of influential circles, local administration, media workers, and the general public.
