Road meeting demanding change of BNP candidate in Noakhali-6 constituency
A road meeting was held demanding change of BNP candidate’s nomination in Noakhali-6 (Hatia) constituency.
The program was held at Afazia Bazar police station in the upazila on Sunday (November 23) afternoon under the chairmanship of Arefin Ali, former joint convener of Chhatra Dal.
Engineer Tanvir Uddin Rajib, member of the Noakhali district BNP convening committee and former general secretary of Hatia upazila BNP, is requesting the people’s sentiment to be considered in the road meeting.
At that time, the leaders and workers demanded that Engineer Tanvir Uddin Rajib be given the final party nomination.
At that time, BNP leader Tanvir said, we believe that our leader Deshnayak Tarique Rahman has given the possible nomination from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party in Hatia.
Considering the sentiments of 7.5 lakh people in Hatiya Island, he demanded that Una be replaced in the Hatiya constituency of Noakhali-6 and one person from among the 7.5 lakh people of Hatiya be nominated. He commented that everyone would accept him.
