In view of the upcoming Thirteenth National Assembly Election in Nandail, Mymensingh, an exchange meeting of local working journalists was held with Yasser Khan Chowdhury, the nominated candidate of BNP in 153 Mymensingh-9 Nandail Constituency and convener of Nandail Upazila BNP.
(November 17) At 11 o’clock on Monday, the discussion meeting was held with the journalists working in the upazila at the party office of Chamta Bazar of the upazila.
In the meeting, Paddy Sheesh candidate Yaser Khan Chowdhury answered various questions from the reporters about the upcoming elections, the party’s position, development plans of Nandail and the expectations of the voters. He said, we want to change Nandail. I entered the field with the aim of ensuring people’s rights, security and development. Want to solve long-standing deprivation of people. With proper planning and proper leadership, major improvements are possible in education, health, agriculture and communication systems. If elected, I will transform Nandail into a modern and livable area.
Yaser Khan Chowdhury also mentioned the special initiative for the welfare of journalists and said that an initiative will be taken to bring all the journalists of Nandail under one umbrella. A complex building will be constructed in the upazila for journalists, where journalists will get separate offices and housing facilities. If I am elected, I will raise a demand in the national parliament for the implementation of the pay scale for upazila level journalists.

Upazila BNP Senior Joint Convener Mizanur Rahman Liton, Member Secretary Enamul Kadir, Municipal BNP Acting Convener Nazrul Islam Fakir were also present in the exchange meeting Municipal BNP member secretary Rafikuzzaman Bhuiyan Monir along with various print and electronic media journalists working in Nandail
and party leaders and activists at various levels.
