On the occasion of the birthday of Tarique Rahman, the acting chairman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP and the main sponsor of ‘Amra BNP Paribas’, ‘Amra BNP Paribas’ organized a day-long humanitarian service program at Shaheed Khokon Park in Bogura city on Tuesday.
The program included free medical camps, eye treatment, heart treatment, blood donation programs, as well as distribution of wheelchairs among the destitute, distribution of books among students, distribution of fertilizers and seeds among farmers, and distribution of clothes and gloves among workers.
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General and ‘Amra BNP Paribas’ Chief Advisor Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi inaugurated this humanitarian service program as the chief guest.
The event was chaired by senior journalist Atiqur Rahman Rumon, convener of ‘Amra BNP Paribas’ and member of BNP’s media cell. The event was attended by cardiologist Dr. Anam Monowarul Qadir Bitu, central joint secretary general of DAB, Jahidul Islam Rony, member of the National Press Club, Masud Rana Liton, Mustakim Billah, Shakil Ahmed, Shahadat Hossain, and former general secretary of BUET Chhatra Dal, Engineer Abu Hanif.
