BNP’s nominated candidate for Joypurhat-1 constituency Masud Rana Pradhan, District BNP Convener Golzar Hossain, Joint Convener MA Wahab led BNP leaders and activists to take out a huge joyous procession after the verdict was announced by ICT for crimes against humanity case against ousted fascist Hasina, Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and Chowdhury Abdullah AL Mamun.
Leaders and activists of various organizations including Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal, Mohila Dal, and Swechchhasebak Dal started coming to the BNP office from 10 am in view of the verdict announcement. Immediately after the verdict was announced, BNP leaders and activists of the organizations took out a huge joyous procession. ‘At this moment the news came, Sheikh Hasina has been given death sentence with the following slogans’ ‘Abu Saeed is impressed, the war is not over’ ‘Hold on, hold on, League, go to jail in a hurry’ ‘Indian brokers beware’ ‘Action, action, direct action’ ‘Direct action against Awami League’. ‘Slap shoes on both cheeks of tyranny’ ‘Awami League, don’t come down, you will not have a skin on your back’ ‘Don’t bomb, you will not have a skin on your back’ etc. A huge joyous procession paraded the main roads of the town.
