On Saturday morning, November 15, a colorful rally was held in Pabna under the slogan “Efficient Manpower – The Main Basis of Nation Building” to mark the 8th National Public Engineering Day of the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) the event was celebrated on the occasion of Day 2025 and IDEB’s glorious 55th founding anniversary.

The colorful rally organized by Pabna District IDEB was inaugurated as the chief guest by Pabna District Superintendent of Police Md. Mortoza Ali Khan, represented by Pabna Sadar Circle Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Shariful Islam, Pabna Polytechnic Institute Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Humayun Kabir and Pabna Press Club General Secretary Md. Zahurul Islam were present at the rally as special guests.
At the beginning of the rally, District IDEB President Md. Mohsin Ali and General Secretary Md. Delwar Hossain presented mementos to the guests.

The rally started from the open platform, circled around Abdul Hamid Road, the main road of Pabna city, and ended at the open platform again.
After the rally, a brief discussion was held in the open forum under the chairmanship of District IDEB President Md. Mohsin Ali, while the representative of the Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Shariful Islam, spoke as the chief guest.

About 600 well-wishers, including diploma engineers working in various departments, job seekers and business diploma engineers, and students from various polytechnic institutes, participated in the discussion meeting.
