Everyone’s cooperation is needed to develop responsible tourism-Tourist Police Additional DIG Apel Mahmud
A seminar titled “Responsible Tourism for Cox’s Bazar” was held by the International Labor Organization (ILO).
The seminar was held at the conference hall room of the Ocean Paradise Hotel in Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday afternoon.
Additional DIG of the Tourist Police Cox’s Bazar Region Md. Apel Mahmud was present as the main speaker at the event.
He said, “Responsible tourism is not only the responsibility of the administration, but everyone.
Everyone has to work together to provide safe, clean and positive experiences to tourists.”
The speakers said,to develop responsible and sustainable tourism in Cox’s Bazar, there is no alternative to the participation of the local community, environmental conservation and coordinated initiatives to maintain law and order.
The seminar was attended by people from various professions, including ILO representatives, local administration officials, tourism entrepreneurs, NGO workers, and journalists.
