The monthly meeting of the District Law and Order Committee was held in Gopalganj in November / 2025.
The meeting, organized by the Gopalganj District Administration on Sunday (November 9) at 11:30 am at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference room Swachhta, was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate Muhammad Kamruzzaman (Joint Secretary).
The program, moderated by the learned Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Fariha Tanjin, was attended by District Superintendent of Police Md. The District Police Superintendent, one of the members of the District Law and Order Committee, expressed his extreme anger over the people who were creating public suffering by inserting nails into trees from the Haridaspur area, the entrance to the city, and by constructing illegal arches on various roads in the municipal area. He advised the guardians of every educational institution and every family to take due care to ensure that young students do not bring domestic weapons in their school bags during the teaching period in every educational institution in the city.
Later, after the meeting of the Law and Order Committee, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Kamruzzaman (Joint Secretary) along with all the members of the committee presented floral greetings and crests to Gopalganj Government College Principal Professor Ohid Alam Laskar and Gopalganj Government Girls High School and College Principal Shahnaz Reza Annie.
