The 13th National Parliament elections will be held in the first week of February, said Shafiqul Alam, Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser.

He said that some beneficiaries of the fallen government are spreading confusion about the elections.

They are paid by the fascist government. So their words will not be accepted.
He made this statement at a meeting with journalists at the conference room of Netrokona Circuit House on Friday (November 7) morning.
The Press Secretary said, the media, as the fourth pillar of the state, plays an important role in conveying accurate and positive messages about the government’s activities to the people.
Therefore, mutual trust and understanding between the government and the media must be further strengthened.
He said, “Responsible and constructive journalism can bring positive change in society. The media is one of our supporting forces in the government’s development activities.”
At the meeting, journalists highlighted local problems, opportunities, and professional challenges and offered various suggestions for improving the quality of the journalism profession.
