Jamaat-e-Islami’s parliamentary candidate for Shibpur constituency in Narsingdi-3 and Ameer of Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Maulana Mostafizur Rahman Kausar has said that if Jamaat-e-Islami comes to power in the next national elections, Shibpur will be made a livable upazila. Steps will be taken to eradicate terrorism and drugs from Shibpur. He said these things while addressing a meeting with journalists working in various media in Shibpur on Sunday (November 2) evening. The meeting was held at the Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami office in Shibpur. Narsingdi District Jamaat-e-Islami’s Sura member Abdul Latif Khan, Shibpur Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary Asaduzzaman, Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Working Committee member Ataur Rahman also spoke during the meeting. The speakers at the meeting sought the full cooperation of journalists to take Jamaat-e-Islami further forward.
