The theme of “Equality and Equality, Cooperatives Will Build the Nation” was “The 54th National Cooperative Day was celebrated in Kumarkhali, Kushtia through various programs.”

On Saturday (November 1), at 10:30 am, a national flag hoisting rally and discussion meeting were organized by the Upazila Upazila Cooperative Office to mark the day.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) Kumarkhali, Bijoy Kumar Joardar, was present as the chief guest at the function presided over by Upazila Cooperative Officer Kumarkhali, Mst. Zahura Khanam.

Marina Akter Mina, Batokrishna Paul, Shesir Kumar Biswas and others were present as special guests.

Directors of various cooperative societies of Kumarkhali Upazila, cooperatives, journalists and well-wishers were present at the time.

At the end of the discussion meeting, 6 cooperative societies were awarded crests of honor as a token of good work.

At the beginning of the discussion meeting, Upazila Cooperative Officer Kumarkhali, Mst. Zahura Khanam, delivered a welcome speech. The program was moderated by Md. Aynul Haque.
