Jahura Begum, mother of Saiful Islam, Rangpur Bureau Chief of Dainik Shomoyer Alo and Daily Morning Glory and member of Rangpur Press Club, has passed away. (Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un).
She was 80 years old at the time of her death.

She breathed her last at her residence in Munshipara, Rangpur city around 11 pm on Sunday (October 26).

She had been suffering from old age-related diseases for a long time. At the time of her death, she was survived by eight sons and daughters, along with numerous relatives and well-wishers.

According to family sources, the funeral prayers of the deceased will be held at Keramotia Jame Mosque after Zohr on Monday (October 27).
Later, she will be buried at the Munshipara graveyard in the city.
