Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-15 and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DGFI) have recovered 1 lakh 12 thousand 463 pieces of Yaba from the Balukhali Rohingya Camp-10 area under Ukhia police station in Cox’s Bazar. A female drug dealer has been arrested in this incident.
A press release from RAB-15 said that a joint operation team of RAB-15 and DGFI Cox’s Bazar conducted the operation on the basis of secret information at midnight on Saturday (October 25).
During the operation, 1 lakh 12 thousand 463 pieces of Yaba were recovered from the residence of drug dealer Dilbahar (50) in Block D/11 area of ​​Balukhali Rohingya Camp-10. Later, he was arrested red-handed.
Further legal action against the arrested accused along with the recovered Yaba is in the process.
RAB continues regular intelligence surveillance and operations to control drug and arms smuggling in the bordering Cox’s Bazar district.
