Alhaj Syed Ali, a member of the district BNP convening committee and a potential BNP candidate for Nilphamari-3 (Jaldhaka) constituency, has provided financial assistance to two families affected by a terrible fire in the Rang Bazar area of ​​​​Kantali Union in Jaldhaka Upazila of Nilphamari. He visited the scene on Sunday (October 19) morning and handed over various gifts including cash assistance, saris, lungis and blankets to the families of the victims Harikant Roy and Mrinal Chandra Roy. Present at the scene, Syed Ali said, “It is our moral responsibility to stand by the affected families during this disaster for people. We will continue to help them in the future.” Mrinal Roy, who lost everything in the fire, said, “Everything we had was destroyed in the fire. Syed Ali stood by us with cash and necessary items—we are grateful. In this regard, Kantali Union Parishad Secretary Md. Nuruzzaman said that the two affected families have suffered a loss of about 20 lakh taka.” Kantali was also present at the assistance program.
