Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Zakia Sarwar Lima conducted a mobile court operation in Panjora and Parwan areas of Kaliganj, Gazipur.
During this, a fine of Tk 350,000 was collected in two cases.
On Sunday (October 19) afternoon, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Zakia Sarwar Lima conducted a mobile court operation in Peragodi and Parwan areas of Panjora area under Nagri union of the upazila while illegally filling agricultural land with sand.
At that time, under Section 15(1) of the Sand Mahal and Soil Management Act 2010, Md. Raihan Molla (33), son of Md. Motalib Molla of Panjora village, was fined Tk 3 lakh and Md. Rafiqul Islam Khan (44) was fined Tk 50,000 in two cases, totaling Tk 350,000.
