Former MP of Gopalganj-2 constituency, former chairman of Zilla Parishad and former president of district BNP, M.H. Khan Manju, analyzed the current and past political situation in Gopalganj at a meeting with local journalists at his residence in the city’s Launchghat area on Saturday (October 18) afternoon.
He especially described the kind of torture and oppression that was inflicted on him and his family during the previous government’s tenure. However, he did not blame anyone in this regard.
In response to various questions from journalists at that time, he said that Allah willing, he is optimistic that the BNP nomination board will nominate him. And it will be clear only through an objective survey at the field level. He also told journalists that if he is not nominated, he will never participate in the election as an independent candidate. He will respect the party’s decision.
