Police-Magistracy Conference Held in Jamalpur
The monthly police-magistracy conference was held in Jamalpur. The conference was organized by the Jamalpur Chief Judicial Magistrate Court at the conference room of the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Monday afternoon.
Jamalpur Chief Judicial Magistrate Md. The conference held under the chairmanship of Jasim Uddin was attended by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, learned magistrates, 35 BG Jamalpur CEO, Superintendent of Police Rafiqul Islam, Civil Surgeon Azizul Haque, Additional District Magistrate, Additional and Assistant Superintendents of Police of all circles of Jamalpur, Head of Forensic Department, Assistant Director of Jamalpur General Hospital, all Upazila Health Officers, Probation Officers, Representative of Commander of CPC-1 of RAB 14, Representative of Anti-Corruption District Office, Officer-in-Charge of all police stations in the district, Representatives of CID and Public Works Department and officials of various departments.
At the conference, learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Md. Jasim Uddin called upon all those involved in the judicial process to conduct the judicial process with speed and transparency.
Police Superintendent Rafiqul Islam said that the police department will work for the welfare of the people with the utmost responsibility in the investigation work and will fulfill all its responsibilities towards the judiciary.
At this time, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Md. Jasim Uddin called on the judges, police, doctors and all those involved in the investigation and judicial process to ensure the highest welfare of the people seeking justice by properly following the recently amended Criminal Procedure Code and the Women and Child Abuse Prevention Act.
Moreover, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Md. Jasim Uddin provided necessary guidelines to resolve the existing problems in the investigation and judicial process that arose during the open discussion.
