Like the rest of the country, the Typhoid Vaccination Campaign-2025 was inaugurated in Gopalganj with great enthusiasm, enthusiasm and festive atmosphere.

Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate (Joint Secretary) Muhammad Kamruzzaman declared the inauguration of the program on Sunday (October 12) morning by administering typhoid fever vaccination to the young children and students of Gopalganj District Administration schools and colleges.

About three and a half lakh children and teenagers will be vaccinated against typhoid free of cost from various educational institutions and designated vaccination centers in the district and upazila, said District Civil Surgeon Dr. Abu Sayeed Md. Faruk.

At that time, District Police Superintendent Md. Mizanur Rahman, District Civil Surgeon Dr. Abu Sayeed Md. Faruk, District Education Officer Khondaker Ruhul Amin, District Primary Education Officer Mrs. Jyotsna Khatun, Medical Officer of the Civil Surgeon’s Office Dr. Dibakar Biswas, Assistant Commissioner Md. Ataur Rahman, S.S. Amirul Mostafa, Headmasters of Gopalganj District Administration Schools and Colleges and other teachers were present.

It is worth noting that in order to make this vaccination program successful, a meeting was held on October 8 at the Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner’s Office and on October 9 at the conference room of the District Civil Surgeon’s Office with the participation of all concerned including media personnel.
