A discussion meeting on onion conservation through modern methods (air flow machines) has been held in Kumarkhali, Kushtia.
On this occasion, on October 12, at 11:00 am, at Panti Union under Kumarkhali Upazila, Kumarkhali Upazila Agriculture Officer Raisul Islam presided over the program organized by the Department of Agricultural Extension, Kumarkhali.
The program, moderated by Kumarkhali Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Kawsar ALi, was attended by Deputy Director Kushtia, Md. Shawkat Hossain Bhuiyan, as the chief guest, who gave a guideline on onion conservation among the farmers.
Additional Deputy Director (Grains) Wahiduzzaman, Agricultural Engineer Khamarbari Kushtia, Deputy Assistant Plant Protection Officer Kumarkhali, Md. Mahirul Islam, etc. spoke as special guests.
At that time, Deputy Assistant Agricultural Officers of Kumarkhali Upazila Agricultural Extension Department, journalists from various print and electronic media, farmers and stakeholders of the area were present.
