Ramgarh Municipality announces open budget
The municipality’s budget has been announced with emphasis on adopting long-term sustainable projects for the development of Ramgarh Municipality in Khagrachari and implementing them properly.
On Thursday (October 9) morning, at a view-sharing meeting organized on the occasion of the announcement of the budget of Ramgarh Municipality for the financial year 2025-26, speakers gave speeches emphasizing on sustainable long-term development.
At the meeting held in the conference room of the municipality under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Municipal Administrator Kazi Shamim, he announced a budget of 72 crore 41 lakh 48 thousand 420 taka.
At the beginning of the meeting, the municipality’s accountant Md. Shah Alam presented the development plans of Ramgarh Municipality for the financial year 2025-2026 in front of everyone.
The budget includes health and sanitation, education, health, ICT, electricity, installation expenses, tax collection expenses, national day celebrations, sports, cultural, aid and cooperation, disaster management, emergency relief, water sector expenses, markets, passenger shelters, road and drain construction, development and project expenses of 666 million taka.
Among others, Ramgarh Police Station Officer-in-Charge and Responsible Councilor Md. Moin Uddin, Ramgarh Government Degree College Vice Principal Mangsazai Marma, Upazila Engineer Naimul Islam, Social Service Officer Azizur Rahman, Youth Development Officer Tanvir Rahman Siddiqui, former Education Officer Rameshwar Shil, public representatives, political and social figures, teachers, freedom fighters, government officials from various departments and journalists were present at the meeting.
